At the age of 30- I decided to go get a well woman check up. Everything went fine- Minus two things. My cholesterol is high, to the point that my doctor has restricted me from everything minus fruits and veggies, and my thyroid is low. I’ve read a lot about juicing, and have been following your Vegetable Juicing Facebook page.

After what felt like a huge brick to my face…I was ready to make a change. It is truly sad that it took this to realize that my 265lbs on a 5’3” frame would catch up to me. Any advice you can give I am will to take. You’re an inspiration to me in the way you’ve changed your life.

I am so grateful for finding you. I don’t know you, but I feel like you’re a guardian angel sent to kick my ass and get me in gear.

I started at 320 lbs, and my current weight today is 208 lbs. I have a long ways to go – but I WILL get there. I am saving these clothes to show the world that it is possible and so each week, everyone can see the difference. My waist was once the size of my arms and body together. How sad that I let this happen.

I don’t eat meat, zero processed food. I am juicing or eating raw veggies. Taking a multi-vitamin and I walk/run 2-4 miles a day. It has been baby steps for me though. This isn’t a quick process, and I am okay with that. I don’t want perfection, I want to be healthy. I want my life back.

I feel better, I look better, and each day I get stronger. I have so many people, plus myself to thank. You are one of them!

I’ve known about juicing since I was 16. I would juice here and there over the years. But it had always seemed to time consuming to do on a daily basis. After 20 years of being with my wife, in July of 2011 she passed away. After which I became so sick my family was planning my funeral. I went into a coma, I had 5 Grand Mal Seizures. I went down to a hundred pounds. Oh and did I mention, my heart stopped twice. I died twice.Long story short, had I left it in the hands of western medicine and the 17 medications they had me on, I’d be either bed ridden or dead now.

So as weak as I was, I started juicing. Day by day, slowly, things began to improve. I juiced religiously and consistently

to this day. My diet is very clean. I have been working out again. Everyone in Whole Food, Trader Joes and Sprouts knows me. those places are my second hone.

I’m now at the same weight I was when I was in my 20′s and my body and muscles definitely have memory. I have all my hair, outside of a few scattered grays, it’s still black or very very dark brown and I’ve never colored it. My mind is very sharp.

I started the beginning of January. I wanted the Jay Kordich or the Breville juicer and I couldn’t afford them. A friend of mine started juicing before me and I decided to start with the best I could buy and that was a Hamilton Beach Big Mouth. I began with one juice a day and walking. I went into the hospital again then when I came out, I did the Alpha Reset which realllly changed my world. I felt energized and more focused. I added walking, then wogging (walk/jog), then went all out and did stated at the gym. I do interval training & tabata with my wogging. My trainer wanted me to go on the Paleo diet but I was really hesitant! Then I bought Drew’s book and he said adjusted Paleo and everything was great in my world! lol Paleo it was and I have been adjusted ever since. Still juicing, and have done one other Alpha Reset. One thing that really helps me is that I stay connected to positive people, positive information like I find with fitlife.tv, and I believe in encouraging and empowering myself and others to reach goals. When I started this journey, my doctor literally said that losing weight for me would be like hitting water on rocks – I have PCOS which ultimately means I gain or maintain and not lose. But, with juicing, look at me now… 45 lbs later. Simply Amazing!

I began juicing in December 2012. I heard about juicing from the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. Since beginning juicing I have lost 25 lbs and 26 inches. I have done two, five day resets and always have one to two juices a day. I typically use kale, cucumber, ginger, spinach, apple, celery, lemon, and carrot.

Pretty much everything has improved! I sleep better, have a better mood, can think better and just feel so much better. Oh, and the acne that I have had since my freshman year of high school is gone! I went to several dermatologists and none of them could help me and a week after juicing, it was gone!

For workouts I do insanity workouts which are max interval training. It is a beach body workout. I don’t know if you guys are familiar with beach body but they are very big into promoting shakeology. I purchased it for 3 months and just wasn’t really feeling that much better. 2 weeks after juicing and I felt a world of a difference! I guess you should go with the stuff that comes from the ground, not a bag.

I have always had a very poor body image of myself and was just never happy with the way I looked. Now, I actually am confident in the way I look and actually enjoy taking my shirt off. I used to be the person who would sometimes wear my shirt in the pool!
